Truck Crashes
In Montana, trucks are involved in approximately 5 percent of all crashes but 10 to 12 percent of all fatal crashes. In 2008, the number of truck crashes and fatal truck crashes decreased over the previous year. New strategies to address truck crashes include increased enforcement and inspection and an expanded safety training program.
